Oslo - Wool, art and many Freudian statues

After leaving iceland at a god awful hour of the morning that shouldn't even be classified as morning, we took a plane to Oslo, Norway.

This was the shortest stay of my adventure and with a Steph not at 100% we spent most of our time at our leisure taking in the sights of this place. Oslo is said to be one of the most expensive places in the world, they weren't lying. But it didn't ruin anything.

One of the places in Oslo I was most looking forward to visit was the newly opened Pickles store!
Yes I realise this is just a wool store but I've been buying their wool for a while now and getting to see it where it came from is kind of special. Plus the store was beautiful!

As we spent the couple of days we had in Oslo wandering around we found some interesting sights.

We visited the Oslo Opera house, which could easily give Syndey a run for its money. You could walk all the way up to the top and you got some spectacular views.

Vigelandsparken Sculpture Park was something Brian was really interested in seeing, with no real knowledge of this park besides, weird sculptures everywhere off we went.

And oh my, freud would have a field day...

Yep, his little penis is golden because people think it's lucky to rub it....Apparently this little boy has been stolen multiple times

The only way I can describe this is a "Giant phallic Orgy"

One of the most exciting places we visited was the Astrup Fearnley Museum.
It's a modern art museum full of various different artist and works over the decades.
It has one of the most interesting and diverse collection I've seen in a while.
